Janelle Monae Q.U.E.E.N.
Hey everyone,
here is an awesome (imo) music video/song after such a downer of a video today in class. Janelle Monae is outspoken about sexism in the music industry. She dresses in a notable very specific Janelle Monae style, and refuses to let people dictate how she does her art, her music. This woman is incredible, her music is so much fun and DAMN she can move. I love her.

female objectification clearly isn't necessary in music videos, as Ms. Monae has shown us.
